It corresponds to the change in the equilibrium pH (pH ∗) in the range 1.8–3.0 and 8.0–9.0 for extraction with Cyanex 272 and Na-Cyanex 272, respectively. To study the effect of Na-Cyanex 272 on copper(II) extraction, a comparison with Cyanex 272 was made.
